I am Ward van Besien, a CyberSecurity Architect working in Melbourne Australia. As a consultant, I’ve been dealing with different technologies throughout my career with my focus most recently being on Identity and Security.

While I don’t work as a software developer, I do spend some spare time coding stuff as it’s a good way of learning and getting really to the bottom of things.

Where most IT people like things predictable and stable, I thrive on figuring out technical challenges, otherwise it’s just not very interesting.

During my private time I am a big foodie. I love good food, good wine, good beer, baking bread and generally enjoying the good things in life.
